Junior Civil Engineer

INFORM3 are recruiting for a Junior Civil Engineer to join a busy civil engineering contractor with a strong pipeline of projects across the Southeast.
The successful candidate will initially be based on a civil infrastructure project in Kilkenny, with future opportunities across the surrounding areas. Ideally, the successful candidate will be based in Kilkenny, Carlow or nearby.
Junior Civil Engineer Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Senior Engineer with the day-to-day technical delivery of the project.
- Assist with setting out and surveying.
- Read and interpret drawings and specifications.
- Assist with coordinating subcontractors and site teams.
- Carry out site measurements and maintain records.
- Assist with QA/QC, RAMS and project documentation.
- Monitor works to ensure they meet quality and programme requirements.
- Liaise with project stakeholders and assist with resolving site issues.
- Ensure works are carried out in line with Health & Safety requirements.
Junior Civil Engineer Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
- 0–3 years' experience in civil engineering/construction.
- Graduate Engineers with relevant site experience will be considered.
- Good understanding of construction drawings.
- Setting out/surveying experience desirable.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work as part of a site team.
- Full driving licence desirable.
