The Company

A local building contractor is looking for an Estimator to join the team, you will work closely with the Quantity Surveyor and report into Senior Management.

This is a perfect role for an individual who has 2+ years’ experience and seeking to expand and build their knowledge.

Salary will be competitive.

The Estimator duties will include;

• Review and assessment of tender documentation including interpreting drawings, specifications, reports and general scope of works requirements.
• Preparation of consultant, subcontractor and material packages for pricing using latest estimating software.
• Review and preparation of consultant, subcontractor and materials cost analysis for cost comparison purposes. Continuous management of tender documents.
• Assistance in the completion and return of tender documents.
• Assistance in the preparation of project handover reports including collation of the necessary and associated documentation.
• Preparation and maintenance of estimating data for reports and tender application.

You will have:

• You will have 2-3 years or more experience in an estimating role in construction background.  
• You will have a construction related 3^rd Level qualification.
• You will have strong computer / excel skills
