Junior Estimator
An exciting opportunity has come up for someone looking a role within a Junior Estimator focused role, a successful candidate must have proven success within pulling all the information to analyse a project before commencing work. We are looking a self-motivated professional individual, due to continued growth and increase in enquires.
The opportunity is with a firm that has been in business near 40+ years, they have a firm foothold in the Construction industry. Offering a complete package, they have strived to make significant progress throughout UK, Ireland & Europe. The company is Independently owned. They have a broad range of expertise from Data Centres, Hotels and Large-scale projects.
Newry based. Attractive salary, also incentive packages with clear career progression. In-house and essential training will be provided.
Estimator Duties:
- Providing commercial and technical advice to business development
- Presenting estimates to senior managers
- Calculating site management and preliminary costs
- Winning tenders
- Sourcing and selecting sub-contractor quotations
- Producing bills of quantities
Estimator Experience:
- 1 years’ plus experience as an Estimator required
- Strong understanding of the entire bid life-cycle
- Experience and proficiency in Estimating software
- Strong commercial awareness
- Exceptional communication / interpersonal skills
