Job Title – Junior Foreman

Project – Residential & Commercial

Job Location – South Dublin

Salary – €30K-€40K

About the Company

This leading Irish contractor are currently looking for a junior foreman to assist the Site Manager and Foreman on site. The ideal candidate will be willing to learn how to manage a team of trades, look after H&S on site and procurement of materials etc.

This role would be suitable for a Construction Management graduate with good site exposure or someone coming from a trades background who wants to take a step into professional site management.

The Role

• Report to Project Manager, Site Manager and Foreman.
• Liaise with and manage various subcontractors on a daily basis.
• Manage and drive labour force.
• Ensure H&S and Company Compliance policies are adhered to by all staff members.
• Support the Foreman and Site Manager with procurement of materials.
• Supervise the site in the absence of a foreman or site manager.

Requirements

• Trade Qualification / Construction Qualification. (Preferably Carpentry)
• Strong sense of ownership over projects and excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Site exposure/ placements are essential.
• Willingness to learn and eagerness to progress in professional site management.
