Health & Safety Officer – Dublin and Louth projects

INFORM3 are currently recruiting a Health & Safety Officer for a number of residential developments in Dublin. The candidate will work for a large client with 40+ years within the construction industry who has experienced continued growth. The client takes great interest in their staff and values hard work which they reward in kind with the opportunity to grow and progress within the company.

The successful candidate will need to have Health & Safety Degree / Qualification and previous experience working in a similar position within the construction industry would be great but this client is happy to offer training.

You will be working alongside the H&S Manager so it’s a great opportunity to progress your skills

 

Health & Safety Officer Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with the Health & Safety Manager
  • Regularly maintain and keep health and safety policies up to date
  • Be aware of specific requirements for each project and ensure health & safety plans have been developed to apply to each requirement
  • Raise Health & Safety awareness amongst our management and labour force and implement requirements necessary for our obligations, which may include; Method statements, COSHH assessments, toolbox talks, O&M manuals etc.
  • Organise training and maintain records
  • Conduct Site visits, assessments and audits
  • Produce reports from site inspections
  • Source and maintain PPE stocks
  • Complete regular health & safety briefings and site inductions
  • Attend Site Meetings

 

Health & Safety Officer Specification:

  • Health & Safety Degree / Qualification
  • 0 - 1 years or more relevant experience
  • NEBOSH certification - preferred
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills
  • Team player, who has the ability to self-start and work independently
  • Motivated to learn and grow within the role
  • Full Driving License
