Junior/ Intermediate Quantity Surveyor- Draperstown
The Company
Family run business based in Derry us currently on the lookout for a QS with a couple of year’s experience to join their team and assist the commercial team. They work within a number of sectors including residential, commercial, healthcare and educational. They have a number of social housing projects throughout Antrim they are currently working on.

The Role
- Liaise with customers and project managers
- Management of commercial and contractual aspects of relationships with customers, consultants and subcontractors
- Prepare tendering projects
- Preparing interim valuations, identifying and valuing variations
- Compile and issue invitations to tender, analyse subcontractor quotations and make recommendations for placement of orders
- Attend pre-contract meetings, liaise with a wide range of construction professionals, and ensure timely completion of jobs
- Assess subcontractor payment entitlement and process payments
- Work closely with contract and site management staff to support the smooth running of the office and the site, carrying out other duties as required
- Manage project performance and report to management team
- Ensuring accurate reporting
What you need
- Hold Degree in Quantity Surveying / Construction Management
- Motivated, driven and works well within team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in using Microsoft Excel and Word
- 3+ years experience
