Salary – €45K-€55K

About the Company

My client is seeking a Junior Site Manager/ Foreman for an exciting commercial development in Kildare.

They are a very busy Main Contractor based in Leinster but have deep roots and long-term work in Kildare.

This would be ideal for someone who is currently working as a Trade Foreman or Site Supervisor who is keen to progress into professional site management.

The Role

• Coordination and supervision of the construction of commercial project.
• Act as a point of contact for direct staff, subcontractors, clients and design team.
• Report into and support the Project Manager
• Oversee and manage manpower on site including, direct staff and subcontractors.
• Oversee the procurement of materials and ensure that site requirements are met without exceeding budget.
• Managing sub-contractors, trades and personnel on site to ensure that productivity levels are high and works are completed on time and within budget.  
• Ensure that company policies including H&S policies are adhered to on site.

Requirements

• A Degree in Construction Management or Trade Background.
• A minimum of 2 years proven experience in a similar role.
• Experience working with a Main Contractor is essential.
