Are you looking to start your career as a Mechanical Engineer within the Manufacturing Industry?

We are currently on the lookout for a Junior Engineer to join our client’s company that are based in South Galway.

The company designs and manufactures a range of products for different industries and have global customers.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Optimize existing production processes by analysing them.
  • Develop and design simple components and equipment for new and existing products and processes.
  • Develops innovative solutions to complex engineering and manufacturing production problems through identification and implementation of manufacturing process.
  • You will be flexible across the board within the engineering environment which you will expose and gain more knowledge and understanding of the business and customers.
  • Develop skills and knowledge to be able to help manage and design projects.
  • Revise and update existing specifications and drawings to incorporate requested design changes from engineering, manufacturing, or quality assurance.
  • To liaise with the end customer to ensure that specifications are met.
  • Assures product and process quality by designing testing methods, testing finished product and process capabilities, and establishing standards to confirm and validate manufacturing process requirements
  • Learning all aspects within the business to help you become more involved and gather experience to become more of an engineer.
  • Assures product and process quality by designing error proof mechanisms; establishing standards; and validating manufacturing processes.

 

Key Skills:

  • Recent Graduate with a Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience in 2D and 3D design software
  • Excellent analytical and practical problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work on your own initiative and as a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings.
