Junior Mechanical Engineer
A new opportunity has arisen for an individual looking at a step ahead, with a young, progressive and dynamic building services firm. They are a successful progressive mechanical, electrical engineering company. There projects range from multi-million commercial projects to low energy products. They have a high calibre success rate and background.
Due to expansion within the Company, they are currently looking a suitable candidate with a proven track record in the building services industry. The client themselves is widely recognised, with a fully entrenched growing portfolio.
You will be tasked with responsible of mechanical services. Dublin based, with an Attractive salary with clear career progression, also working directly with clients.
Role & Responsibilities
- You will be tasked with managing mechanical design, whilst providing Technical advice to Clients, also budget / financial aspects.
- You will initially shadow the Senior Management team, sub-contractor’s monthly valuations and monitoring of overall project costs against the tender.
- Taking the Project from the estimating team via a project hand over.
- The role will also include a view to the candidate delivering projects independently in due course, in terms of Witnessing/Commissioning also Survey/Audit/Report.
Individual requirements
- Qualified Degree level 8/ Mechanical Engineering background
- 3+ years’ experience within Building service consultancy
- AutoCAD proficient
