Job Title – Junior Project Manager

Project – Residential/ Commercial/ Industrial

Job Location – Dublin/ Meath/ Cavan/ Kildare Sites

Salary – €30K - €35K  

About the Company

An amazing opportunity has just become available with a Specialist Contractor in the North Leinster Area. This role would be ideal for a Junior Engineer or Junior Site Manager who wants to progress into project management with a very busy contractor. Successful candidate will be working with a respected Project Manager and Contracts Manager with lots of support and opportunity to progress into professional site management.

The Role

• Support the Contracts Manager and Project Manager.
• Coordination and supervision of the construction of residential, commercial and industrial.
• Manage manpower on site including, direct staff and subcontractors over multiple sites.
• Managing sub-contractors and personnel on site.
• Supervise works on site and ensure the quality of works.
• Plan and coordinate the daily requirements of the sire including labour, ordering of materials and meeting deadlines.
• Perform company compliance and administration procedure and record performance and progress of site operations.
• Update the site diary.

Requirements

• A Degree in Construction Management or Engineering is essential.
• Strong I.T skills are essential. (Microsoft Suite including Project)
• Excellent communications skills
• Willingness to learn and work hard to progress.
• Ideally applicants will have 1 year post graduate experience with a main contractor- however this is not essential.
