About the Company
An amazing opportunity has just become available with a Specialist Contractor working on a range of projects in Limerick.
This role would be ideal for a Junior Engineer or Senior Engineer looking to move into Project Management.
Successful candidate will be working with a respected Project Manager and Contracts Manager with lots of support and opportunity to progress into professional site management.
The Role
- Support the Contracts Manager and Project Manager.
- Coordination and supervision of the construction of residential, commercial and industrial.
- Manage manpower on site including, direct staff and subcontractors over multiple sites.
- Managing sub-contractors and personnel on site.
- Supervise works on site and ensure the quality of works.
- Plan and coordinate the daily requirements of the sire including labour, ordering of materials and meeting deadlines.
- Perform company compliance and administration procedure and record performance and progress of site operations.
- Update the site diary.
Requirements
- A Degree in Construction Management or Engineering is essential.
- Strong I.T skills are essential. (Microsoft Suite including Project)
- Excellent communications skills
- Willingness to learn and work hard to progress.
- Ideally applicants will have 1 year post graduate experience with a main contractor- however this is not essential.
- Previous experience with RC Frames would be preferably but not essential.
