Junior Project Manager - Down

INFORM3 are currently recruiting for a Junior Project Manager for fit-out projects based in Down with some travel to Belfast and Dublin. This position would ideally suit a recent graduate or a candidate with a trades and labour background wishing to move into project management. The client will provide the opportunity for the successful candidate to shadow and extremely successful Project Manager in the industry and train you to a level where you will be managing multi-million-pound projects.

Junior Project Manager Responsibilities:

• Liaising with Clients and Site Foreman daily
• Produce and implement project programme of works
• Deal with the client on any issues that may arise
• Recruit Sub-Contractors
• Confirm team members are aware of contractual terms which impact on their duties
• Ensure all aspects of the work carried out meet with contractual requirements and that the contract is delivered on time, within budget and of excellent quality
• Assure health and safety is met to the highest standard on site
• Consistently provide quality checks on each project
• Liaise with all internal departments as necessary to ensure the successful delivery of the contract

Required Qualifications/Experience:

• Ideally Construction related Degree with 6 months plus experience
• Experience on Fit-Out Projects
• Great computer skills, confident on Microsoft Work and Excel
• Excellent communication, negotiating and influencing skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent planning and organisational skills
• Must be prepared to undertake some travel as part of the role

This role could suit an engineer or recent construction graduate or even a foreman looking to take the next step in their career.
