INFORM Construction Recruitment is working on the behalf of a medium sized building construction company in their search for a Junior Quantity Surveyor. The company has been operating for close to 30 years and have built up an excellent client base in both the public and private sectors. They have built schemes up to the value of €10M working in the residential, education, healthcare and industrial sectors. Onsite parking, competitive salary and package.
The project you will be overseeing is a €15million residential site, based just outside Drogheda.
Quantity Surveyors Role
- Cost control and monitoring
- Subcontractor and supplier procurement
- Assisting with tenders and completing tenders
- Monthly valuations and variations
- Programming of works
- Contract supervision
- Company development
- Pre and post contract administration
- Subcontractor and supplier claims
- Work with site management and report to Commercial Director
Quantity Surveyors Criteria
- Experience preferably in new build commercial and house building
- Highly motivated hard-working individual who can work on their own or as part as a team
- Proficient in Microsoft excel and project
- Own transport
