Junior Quantity Surveyor- Banbridge
The Company
- A premier bricklaying contractor based in Banbridge, completing major construction projects with brick and block laying across both the UK and Ireland.
- Working across a variety of sectors such as industrial, residential, commercial, health and commercial.
- Brand new office.
- Will be setting up a second base in the Mainland UK.
- There are huge opportunities for progression with this contractor.
The Role
- Assisting in preparing, negotiating and analysing costs for tenders and contracts
- Ensure sub-contractors are pre-qualified in accordance with management systems
- Procurement of sub-contractors and preparation of sub-contractor order documentation
- Assessing and certification of sub-contractor interim payments
- Preparation of Interim valuations and final account
- Assist in managing and valuing variations
- Assisting the Senior QS in the production of monthly Cost Value Reconciliation on contracts
- Establish, maintain and enhance effective working relationships
What you need
- Third level qualification in QS or Construction management.
- 2+years’ experience
- Proficient in Microsoft excel and project
- Driven Team player
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
