Junior Quantity Surveyor- Cavan
Tier 2 construction company with over €40 million turnover and increasing have a fantastic opportunity for a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial team, you will assist the Senior Quantity Surveyors in with their projects, you will be provided with support and guidance to develop your skills and knowledge.
Working on housing developments, apartments, hotels, public sector, commercial you will have a variety of experience.
Junior Quantity Surveyors Role
- Cost control and monitoring
- Subcontractor and supplier procurement
- Assisting with tenders and completing tenders
- Monthly valuations and variations
- Programming of works
- Contract supervision
- Company development
- Pre and post contract administration
- Subcontractor and supplier claims
- Work with site management and report to Senior Quantity Surveyor
Quantity Surveyors Criteria
- Third level qualification in QS or Construction management.
- 1+years’ experience
- Proficient in Microsoft excel and project
- Driven Team player
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
