The Company
Award winning building and civil contractor have an opening for Junior Quantity Surveyor with 2+ years experience to
join their commercial staff. You will be based on site and will receive support and mentoring from the Senior Quantity Surveyor.

You will not only join a reputable brand, but you will have the opportunity to assist in overseeing the initial stages to completion of a project with a timeframe of 2 years.
The Role
- Assist the Senior QS in managing the commercial resources of the assigned project (or section)
- Maximising planned gross margin through the placement and control of contracts and subcontracts
- Production and submission of valuations, claims, budget monitoring, and contract/workstream performance data
- Assess, review and mitigate commercial and contractual risks
- Submission of project variations.
- Placement of contracts, subcontracts, material orders
- Maximise cash flow through the control, measurement (including quality) and valuation of work, and the invoicing of customers and payment of suppliers
- Value work executed by sub-contractors and certify interim and final payments.
The Criteria:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or Equivalent
- 2+ years experience
- Proficient with IT Packages
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Driver License
