Graduate Quantity Surveyor- Co Armagh
One of Northern Irelands leading Building Contractors looking for a Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team.
All projects based in NI.
You will be supported and trained by Senior Quantity Surveyors and there is a variety of projects between private and public contracts, housing, commercial, industrial, there will be exposure to different sectors.
The Role
- Preparing, negotiating and analysing costs for tenders and contracts
- Ensure sub-contractors are pre-qualified in accordance with management systems
- Procurement of sub-contractors and preparation of sub-contractor order documentation
- Assessing and certification of sub-contractor interim payments
- Preparation of Interim valuations and final account
- Managing and valuing variations
- Production of monthly Cost Value Reconciliation on contracts
- Establish, maintain and enhance effective working relationships
- Plan, allocate and evaluate work carried out by teams, individuals and yourself
What you need
- Degree Qualified in Quantity Surveying
- Motivated and ability to work independently and as part as a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft excel and project
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
