Junior Quantity Surveyor
INFORM3 Recruitment are recruiting for a highly respected civil engineering contractor with over 30 years’ experience delivering large end infrastructure projects across sectors including leisure, rail, gas, industrial and commercial, roads, water and wind. The contractor is recruiting for a Junior Quantity surveyor to work aside their experienced senior quantity surveyors. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain great insight, new skills and opportunities for the successful candidate.
Duties:
- Assisting senior Quantity surveyors with monthly cost/ value reports
- Assisting in the preparation and submitting of monthly valuations
- Assisting in the preparation of final accounts
- Negotiation of accounts and quotations
- Assist with general administration/ management of all staff
- Liaise with members of other teams
Criteria:
- BSc degree in quantity Surveying
- 1+ years’ experience
- Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent numeracy skills
- The ability to work in a team as well as an individual
- The ability to use own initiative
- Ability to meet tight deadline
