Job Title – Junior Site Engineer
Project – Commercial Projects
Job Location – Belfast
Salary – £30K – £40k plus package
About the Company
An opportunity has arisen for the role of Junior Site Engineer to join our client working within the Construction sector for their Project in Belfast.
Our client has interests in general contracting, refurbishment, extensions, alterations, conversions, commercial, retail & residential developments, social housing & education for both the Public & Private sectors.
The Role
- Comply with safety regulations on all equipment.
- Candidates must possess ability to work on own initiative.
- Accurate record keeping and ability to interpret drawings and specifications essential.
- Give valuable feedback of selection of site personnel, subcontractors etc.
- Attend meetings with clients, subcontractors and consultants and ensure all requirements are actioned.
- Encourage safety on site and comply with company procedures and ensure the work is to a good standard without snags.
- Liaise with management on site.
Requirements
- Degree Qualification in Engineering Construction Management or equivalent.
- Must have at a minimum 1-2 years’ experience post graduate with a main contractor in UK or ROI.
- Thorough knowledge of computer and database applications such as Microsoft Office and Project/PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Clean Driver’s License.
