Junior Site Manager - Wicklow

Job Title – Junior Site Manager

Project – Residential   

Job Location – Wicklow

Salary – €50K-€55K 

About the Company

Fantastic opportunity to work with a leading Property Developer who specialise in housing developments up to €20M in Wicklow, Dublin & Kildare. They are keen to take on a Junior Site Manager who wants to grow and progress as well as run their own project.

The Role

• Oversee the day-to-day management of a residential project and manage manpower on site including, direct staff, trades and subcontractors over multiple sites.
• Work under the Company director who will monitor sight activities and give support.
• Host meetings with Clients, Architects, Design Team, site crew and Senior Management to update them on the progress of the project.
• Host weekly toolbox talk and whiteboard meetings to plan works with different trade teams.
• Update the site diary.
• Overcome and manage any unforeseen delays that may arise.
• Supervise works on site and ensure the quality of works and that they are done on time and in budget.
• Perform company compliance, H&S and administration procedure and record performance and progress of site operations and ensure that policies are being adhered to on site.

Requirements

• A Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or Trade Qualification.
• Must hold a valid safe pass.
• 2 years’ experience required for this role preference given to those with residential housing experience.
• Must be confident in their ability to drive labour force, motivated to succeed and meet dealing and eager to progress and grow with the company.
• Strong I.T skills are essential. (Microsoft Suite including Project)
