Junior Site Manager - Graduate Role - Antrim

Job Title – Junior Site Manager

Project – Residential – New Build Social Housing

Job Location – Mid Ulster

Salary – £25K-£30K + travel    

About the Company

Fantastic opportunity for a Construction Management or Engineering Graduate with a 0–1-year experience to start their career in Professional Site Management.

This role is suitable for ambitious engineers or graduates who want to pursue a career in site management with a busy Main Contractor who offer long-term work in Northern Ireland – no UK Travel involved

This project is just starting with minimum of 2 years’ work. The successful candidate will get to work alongside and experience Site Manager and Senior Engineer and gain valuable training with genuine progression opportunities with the view to run their own project in coming years.

The Role

• Report to and support the Site Manager and Senior Engineer.
• Act as a point of contact for direct staff, subcontractors, clients and design team.
• Liaise with site personnel, subcontractors, design team and architects to report any issues or help the flow of information.
• Manage manpower on site including, direct staff and subcontractors.
• Supervise works on site and ensure the quality of works and report any issues to senior management in a prompt and timely manner.
• Order materials as required.
• Ensure that company policies including H&S policies are adhered to on site.

Requirements

• A recent Degree in Construction Management or Engineering.  
• Ideally will have completed a placement with a Main Contractor.
• Willingness to learn and work to get the project completed to a high standard.
• Ambitious – keen to run your work projects in the near future.
