Junior to Senior Health and Safety Officers – Dublin
INFORM3 are currently recruiting a Health & Safety Officers from Junior to Senior Level for projects based in Dublin. The candidates will work for a Building and Civil Engineering Contractor with over 45 years in the construction industry. The client has quite a number of live projects and is currently expanding their team and seeking candidates with backgrounds in Health and Safety and previous experience in the construction industry.
Junior to Senior Health & Safety Officer Responsibilities:
- Report into the Health & Safety Manager regularly regarding Health and Safety on site
- Complete site inspections and file reports
- Ensure that Health and Safety is implemented and adhered to on site
- Remain updated with current legislation and policies regarding Health and Safety
- Liaise with Site Management and Senior Management regarding any Health and Safety requirements on site
- Conduct training and ensure the relative paperwork has been completed
- Implement Method Statements, COSHH assessments, toolbox talks, O&M manuals etc
- Provide information to support pre-qualification requirements for various clients
- Maintain PPE Stocks, ensuring staff are well equipped for site work
- Complete any other duties as and when required
Candidate Specification:
- Health & Safety background
- Health & Safety Degree
- 3 plus years in a relevant position
- NEBOSH certification
- Excellent organisation and interpersonal skills
- Confident in the use of Microsoft Office
- Full Driving License
