Job Title – Key Account Manager

Job Location – Co. Fermanagh / Co. Cavan 

Salary – £35K - £40K DOE

 

About the Role:

As a Key Account Manager in the Food Manufacturing industry, you will play a vital role in managing key client accounts, fostering business partnerships, and driving sales initiatives.

Your strong communication skills, industry knowledge, and strategic acumen will be integral to building and maintaining long-term relationships with clients, driving revenue growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

You will report to the Commercial Manager on a regular basis and work alongside 3 other key account managers within the company.

 

Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key client accounts, understanding their needs and requirements, and providing exceptional service.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and advocate for their business interests.
  • Communicate proactively with clients to address inquiries, resolve issues, and seek opportunities for collaboration and growth.
  • Develop account plans and sales forecasts to achieve revenue targets and maximize profitability.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing agreements, and terms of service to secure long-term partnerships and drive customer loyalty.
  • Prepare detailed reports on account performance, sales metrics, and market trends to track progress and inform strategic decision-making.
  • Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and enhance customer satisfaction.

 

Experience and Knowledge:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Key Account Manager in the Food Manufacturing industry, with a strong track record of client relationship management and sales success.
  • In-depth knowledge of food manufacturing processes, supply chain logistics, and industry regulations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office suite, and sales analytics tools.
  • Proficient in Costing products and services.
  • Clean Drivers License.
  • Flexibility to travel between Cavan and Fermanagh facilities when required.
