A highly accredited and innovative organisation, leading the way in the manufacturing industry based in West Meath is recruiting for a Lead Automation Engineer.  

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Lead Automation Engineer with experience within the Manufacturing Sector to manage projects from initial stages through to and including final site acceptance test.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the development, drive and achievement of the project plans.
• Collaborate with multiple department leaders to establish project targets, tasks and timelines while identifying resource requirements.
• Leadership of cross-functional team ensuring efficient on-time delivery of targets and milestones.
• Researching and investigating new processes and techniques in the industry.
• Identification and management of the continuous improvement process.
• Liaise with customers to build long term and sustainable relationships
• Monitoring of project progress and activity and reporting details to the customer in a timely manner.
• Budget management

Requirements

• Degree BSc / BEng in Automation or related subject
• Project management qualification is an advantage.
• 2+ years in a project engineering or project Lead role
• Experience in similar quality environment.
• Automation/equipment experience.
• PLC/pneumatic/electrical circuits understanding

• Excellent organisational & communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent technical skills including proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint & MS Project
