We have an exciting opportunity for a Lean Coordinator, to join our electro-mechanical company team, based in County Cork.

The Lean Coordinator role you will be responsible for the implementation of Continuous improvement processes and procedures. You will manage teams of Engineers, technicians, and operators to achieve the overall business needs and on time completion of projects.

Duties Include:

• Leading advanced manufacturing and continuous improvement projects
• Supporting, maintaining, and improving current production processes.
• Working with NPD, Engineering, Production and supplier to design and implement new processes
• Diagnosing and suggesting solutions to production problems.
• Supporting NPI in development of new products and processes
• Assisting in the qualification and documentation of tooling.
• Training and developing staff.
• Managing and planning jobs based upon company priorities.

Requirements:

• Experience in Lean Management (Qualified in LEAN six sigma green belt or higher).
• Degree in Engineering.
• Proven track record of excellent leadership
• Proven knowledge of successfully implementing new processes
• Experience of specifying new equipment with external suppliers
• Demonstrated ability to resolve problems, educate, and work to exacting standards.
• Competent use of measurement tools.
