Maintenance Electrician                Co. Cavan                    €35-45K

Are you a Qualified Electrician who is currently seeking a new challenge? Our client based in County Cavan has an immediate requirement to recruit an Electrician to join their team.

The role will suit someone with a sound technical knowledge & experience who will thrive on the varied nature of the electrical maintenance requirements to ensure the efficient & smooth running of the manufacturing processes within the cement environment.

Duties Involve:

• Install, carry out inspection, testing, repairs and installation works of electrical installations to current regulations and standards as required by the company.
• Perform both complex and routine diagnostics on a range of electrical issues, utilising wiring schematics, drawings, diagrams and technical manuals.
• To actively do routine maintenance and repairs on all equipment that is required.
• Work closely with maintenance team and provide any feedback and information that is required for the smooth running of the company.
• Follow the company’s Health & Safety regulations and to document any information that is required when performing risk assessments.
• Ensure that high quality product can be produced on a daily basis without any deviations affecting this.
• Maintaining a daily timesheet and daily manning report and ensuring everything is documented clearly and accurately.

Essential Criteria:

• Qualified Electrician with 3+ years’ experience in an Industrial Environment.
• Knowledge and experience of working within a manufacturing/maintenance industry.
• PPM understanding and calibration is desirable.
• Understanding of electrical drawings.
• Have proven ability to work within a team environment.
• Excellent Verbal and Non-Verbal Communication Skills.
