Job Title – Maintenance Electrician

About the Company:

Our client is currently recruiting for a strong candidate with electrical experience where you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of various production equipment, with a focus on electrical systems.

Your duties will include conducting preventive maintenance, troubleshooting electrical issues, training staff, and collaborating with various teams to ensure seamless production operations.

You will report to the maintenance supervisor and will be involved in working shifts both am and pm shifts. They will work as part of the maintenance team and will work in conjunction with the Production Managers and Operations Managers.

 

Duties Involve:

  • Managing the full electrical works & trouble shooting of the site and equipment.
  • Lead the site preventative electrical programme & manage scheduling.
  • Carry out work orders in a timely and safe manner while maintaining adherence & full compliance with company procedures
  • Responsibility to upload all job details onto a handheld mobile field technology device on completion.
  • The ability to test, inspect and certificate your own installations.
  • Responsibility for explaining system procedures to site management
  • Develop in-depth working knowledge of all site’s electrical equipment
  • Complete all work order form & paperwork in full
  • Follow all Health and Safety Rules and Regulations in the Site.
  • To complete training and review of SOPs on compliance.

 

Skills Required:

  • Experience in Electrical Maintenance within a Manufacturing environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve electrical issues efficiently.
  • Previous experience in a high volume, automated manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of Lean principles and experience with continuous improvement projects is preferred.
  • Familiarity with High Care equipment and food safety standards are advantageous.
