About the Company:

A leading Manufacturing company based in County Antrim are currently looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their ever-expanding business.

They require an experienced Maintenance Engineer to be at the centre of proper functioning of facilities and provide power plant services and to strive for continuous improvement.

The role offers the chance to join a great team with high ambitions. The successful candidate will be presented with the opportunity to work on new and innovative developments and products and grow with the company as it continually progresses through the industry.

You will be working with a leading provider of recycling solutions across Ireland, Northern Ireland and the UK.

Duties Include:

  • Carry out PPM and periodic servicing in correspondence with the maintenance schedule.
  • To be able to work with the Maintenance Manager/Supervisor on a daily basis to carry out projects and installations.
  • Finding solutions to enhance equipment performance of electrical equipment.
  • Maintenance of forklift and company vehicles and upkeep of pneumatic tools and others used in production.
  • An understanding of health & safety procedures and following the rules and regulations.
  • To undertake routine and maintenance inspections
  • Other duties that may be designated to you by Maintenance Manager or team leader.
  • The ability to work on your own when required with a strong level of attention to detail and able to meet deadlines.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • 4+ years’ experience in within a High-Volume Manufacturing Environment.
  • Degree or Equivalent within an Engineering Discipline.
  • Strong understanding of Mechanical & Electrical Maintenance.  
  • Efficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • A friendly & approachable nature with excellent communication skills.
  • Experience and understanding within Pneumatics and Hydraulics.
  • Ability to manage time and exceed deadlines.
  • Clean Drivers Licence.
