A client company based in County Fermanagh are currently on the lookout for a Maintenance Engineer to become a part of their ever-expanding team that are widely recognised for their manufacturing operations of Energy across Ireland and the UK.

The Maintenance Engineer will work closely with all departments, customers and sales members to ensure that all plants are maintained and minimised downtime.

Within this role you will be providing support to all customers across the UK and Ireland and will gain valuable knowledge working within the manufacturing Industry as a Maintenance Engineer.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond quickly to any technical customer enquiries and travel to customer sites.
  • Carry out all Electrical & Mechanical work duties for customer systems.
  • To work in close contact and relation with internal and external clients.
  • Manage and carry out PPM and corrective maintenance.
  • Ensure that faulty finding and root cause analysis are carried out and documented accordingly and solutions are provided.
  • Routine servicing and inspection of mechanical plant, electrical equipment, and instrumentation
  • To provide effective feedback to customer engineering team to ensure that all issues are corrected and followed up.
  • Comply with the company and customers Health & Safety regulations and policies.
  • Participate in on-the-job training and provide any training that is required to other members of staff.
  • Follow and respond accordingly to all emergency procedures and maintain all documentation.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years’ experience or Degree equivalent within Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
  • Understanding of PLC Systems.
  • Multi Skilled Engineeing background.
  • Experience and Knowledge of fault finding and root cause analysis.
  • Ability to provide your own decision making.
  • Excellent Verbal and Non-Verbal Communication.
  • Efficient in MS Office.
  • Full UK Driver’s License.
