Maintenance Engineer - Belfast

Maintenance Engineer           North Belfast            £22-25K 

Do you have experience as a Maintenance Engineer and are involved providing support in the design, development and operation of Die Maintenance Tooling? If so then we have the role for you.

A leading Manufacturing Company based in the North Belfast area are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer continuously improve productivity and produce tools of maximum quality.

This role is great for a proactive, forward-thinking individual looking to take a step forward in a diverse and successful organisation and carry out all engineering work to a high quality.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Test and adjust the systems that built or maintained ensuring tooling, jigs, fixtures and assemblies meet the required specification.
• Provide engineering support to all areas of Die Maintenance.
• Implement Tool Design changes and implement improvements when required.
• Ensure smooth SOP throughout the whole processes and ensure all documents are completed accurately.
• Perform maintenance on tooling equipment and visit customers/suppliers when required.
• Support the Sales/Quality teams as required.
• Review all the die build rejects and implement any actions that is required.

Criteria:

• 2+ years’ experience or degree equivalent in Engineering Environment.
• Knowledge and understanding of manufacturing environment.
• Experience of Tooling Manufacturing Techniques.
• Knowledge of CAD/CAM Systems.
• Strong Communication skills.
• Ability to work on own initiative and in team environment.
• Able to carry out multiple tasks when required.
