INFORM3 are recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer for our client based in County Down, easily commutable from Banbridge, Belfast and Lurgan. This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic individual wishing to progress in their career.

This role will suit someone who has a minimum of 3 years commercial experience providing PPM & delivering project work with a strong background in mechanical & electrical engineering plus you will be playing a part with new and existing projects.

This role will involve a rotation of working hours every certain week and there will be Overtime involved also for the suitable candidate.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Carry out PPM and periodic servicing in correspondence with the maintenance schedule
• To be able to work with the Maintenance Manager on a daily basis to carry out projects and installations.
• To order electrical/mechanical parts in line with the department and get approval and manage the mechanical and electrical repairs and breakdowns.
• An understanding of health & safety procedures and following the rules and regulations.
• To undertake routine and maintenance inspections
• To work closely with machine tool suppliers in order to get what is required.
• Other duties that may be designated to you by Maintenance Manager or team leader.
• The ability to work on your own when required with a strong level of attention to detail and able to meet deadlines.

Experience Required:

• 3+ years’ experience in a similar role.
• Strong comprehension of Hydraulics and Pneumatics.
• Proficient with PLC’s and SCADA’s.
• Efficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• To be able to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Knowledge and understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering
• A friendly & approachable nature with excellent communication skills.
