Maintenance Engineer - Tyrone

Maintenance Engineer (Nights)                    Dungannon, Co. Tyrone            

INFORM3 are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer for our client company located in County Tyrone. You will be responsible for playing a key role in keeping the operation running, through working on pre-planned preventative and reactive maintenance activities across the business.

You will be reporting to the Maintenance Manager and you will be responsible for the maintaining of equipment and ensuring that the performance meets targets and KPI’s.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Carry out scheduled-based maintenance and repairs on company equipment.
• Resolving any issues and reporting any defects or concerns which could potentially cause future problems.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance.
• Undertake basic electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic repairs of all faulty production’s equipment.
• Respond to and carry out reactive maintenance tasks in an efficient and effective manner, minimising the disruption to the business.
• Ensure any defects or issues are logged.
• Ensure you maintain a clean and safe environment which is compliant with relevant legislation and internal policies and procedures.
• Carry out any other Maintenance duties that is required and confirmed with the Maintenance Supervisor.

Essential Criteria:

• 3+ years’ experience working within an Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance Environment.
• Knowledge and understanding working within a production industry.
• Experience of PLC controlled machinery is desirable.
• Experience within Electrical/Mechanical fault finding.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Excellent Communication Skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work within a team environment.
• Flexible to working certain shift patterns and overtime when required.
