Are you an experience Maintenance Engineer? Then this is the role suited for you! A successful Manufacturing company based in Belfast are currently looking to recruit a highly motivated, reliable and enthusiastic individual who will work well under pressure and become a part of the Maintenance and Operational team.

The individual will have the ability to perform both Mechanical and Electrical duties in regards to reactive and preventative maintenance.

This role will include 12-hour shifts working between 4 days on and 4 days off starting early in the morning and finishing late in the evening.

Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Responsible for preforming maintenance and repairs on company equipment.
  • Resolving any issues and reporting any defects or concerns which could potentially cause future problems.
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance.
  • Undertake basic mechanical, electromechanical, electronics and robotic repairs of all faulty production’s equipment.
  • Support the Process Development Engineer, implementing improvement activities to schedule.
  • Respond to and carry out reactive maintenance tasks in an efficient and effective manner, minimising the disruption to the business.
  • Ensure any defects or issues are logged.
  • Ensure you maintain a clean and safe environment which is compliant with relevant legislation and internal policies and procedures.
  • Carry out any other Maintenance duties that is required and confirmed with the Maintenance Supervisor.

Essential Criteria:

  • 4+ years’ experience or equivalent within Maintenance Manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge and understanding of mechanical, electromechanical, electronics and robotic, working with a variety of unique equipment and materials.
  • Ability to understand electrical schematics and pneumatic drawings, flow charts and cause and effect diagrams.
  • Experience within Electrical fault finding desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work well within a team setting.
  • Determination to get tasks done.
  • Hands on in approach to work.
