Our client are currently hiring for Maintenance Engineers who are motivated and hard-working individual to join their maintenance team.

Description:

You will report to the Maintenance Team Lead and work with the department managers across the whole site in relations to Maintenance, Quality and Health & Safety. The role will include a 24/7 shift pattern 07:00-19:00 & 19:00 – 07:00 on a rotation of 2 weeks of days & 2 weeks of nights.

 

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for preforming maintenance and repairs on company equipment and compliance to SOPs and Safe Working Practices.
  • Resolving any issues and reporting any defects or concerns which could potentially cause future problems.
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance.
  • Responsibility for working on material converting machines with regards to repairs, breakdowns of an electrical and mechanical nature while maintaining a safely system of work
  • Respond to and carry out reactive maintenance tasks in an efficient and effective manner, minimising the disruption to the business.
  • Ensure any defects or issues are logged.
  • Ensure you maintain a clean and safe environment which is compliant with relevant legislation and internal policies and procedures.
  • Carry out any other Maintenance duties that is required and confirmed with the Maintenance Supervisor.

 

Essential Requirements

  • Completed an electrical Apprenticeship, obtain an ONC in electrical engineering or equivalent.
  • Knowledge and understanding of PLC’S, Pneumatics, control systems e.g., transducers, signal Conversion, temperature and basic knowledge of building maintenance
  • Excellent Communication Skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work within a team environment.
  • Flexible to working certain shift patterns and overtime when required.
