Maintenance Engineer           Portlaoise       €40-50k

We are currently recruiting for a market leading supplier of material handling and customised automation solutions. We have a vacancy for a qualified Maintenance Engineer for their client in Portlaiose which will involve maintenance and supporting tasks on high speed automated equipment. This role is most suited to candidates with experience in engineering or manufacturing. 

Experience:

  • Level 6 qualification in technical subject
  • 5 years' experience in technical field inclusive of mechanical/ electrical
  • Experience in high volume manufacturing environment
  • Proven experience working on all aspects of general maintenance and technical cleaning
  • Experience in using CMMS and working with PM programs
  • Working knowledge of automated conveying systems
  • Competent level of understanding in areas of troubleshooting PCs, PLC, pneumatic, mechanical, IT and ele systems
