About the Role:

Are you a Maintenance Engineer that has experience carrying out Mechanical & Electrical issues? A client manufacturing company based in County Tyrone are currently on the lookout for a motivated and hard-working individual to join their maintenance team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a successful manufacturing company that specialises within food environment and are widely recognised thorough Ireland and the UK with numerous sites.

Description:

You will report to the Maintenance Manager and work with the department managers across the whole site in relations to Maintenance, Quality and Health & Safety. The role will include 12hr shift patterns consisting of 8am – 8pm and 8pm – 8am working a number of days and off as well.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for preforming maintenance and repairs on company equipment and compliance to SOPs and Safe Working Practices.
  • Resolving any issues and reporting any defects or concerns which could potentially cause future problems.
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance.
  • Undertake basic electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic repairs of all faulty production’s equipment.
  • Respond to and carry out reactive maintenance tasks in an efficient and effective manner, minimising the disruption to the business.
  • Ensure any defects or issues are logged.
  • Ensure you maintain a clean and safe environment which is compliant with relevant legislation and internal policies and procedures.
  • Carry out any other Maintenance duties that is required and confirmed with the Maintenance Supervisor.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Engineering with strong experience in Mechanical/Electrical.
  • 4+ years’ experience working within a Production/Manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge and understanding of PLC’S, HMI, electronic circuits, panel building and PLC.
  • Experience with Hydraulics & Pneumatics.
  • Excellent Communication Skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work within a team environment.
  • Flexible to working certain shift patterns and overtime when required.
