Salary – Competitive BOE (Monday – Friday Day Role)

 

About the Company:

Are you an experienced Maintenance Manager within the Manufacturing sector? Then this is the role for you. You will be responsible for overseeing the scheduling and execution of both corrective and preventive maintenance for manufacturing process equipment, ensuring compliance with procedures, policies, and Health and Safety regulations.

You will be involved in creating detailed shutdown schedules, representing the Maintenance team in cross-functional meetings, developing standard operating procedures, providing on-call support, and managing the performance of the maintenance team.

 

Duties Involve:

  • To work together and collaborate with the Maintenance Team.
  • Schedule corrective and preventative maintenance activities on manufacturing process equipment with input from appropriate Manufacturing personnel.
  • To be able to work with the Maintenance Engineers on a daily basis to carry out projects and installations.
  • Finding solutions to enhance equipment performance of electrical equipment.
  • To order electrical/mechanical parts in line with the department and get approval.
  • The ability to work on your own when required with a strong level of attention to detail and able to meet deadlines. 
  • An understanding of health & safety procedures and following the rules and regulations.
  • To undertake routine and maintenance inspections.
  • Other duties that may be designated to you by Maintenance Manager or team leader.

Skills Required:

  • 4+ years’ experience working in a Maintenance Environment. (FMCG Sector desirable)
  • Experience in a supervisory role, supervising calibration and repairs on production equipment.
  • Understanding of Maintenance / Quality Systems for a food manufacturing environment.
  • Able to provide updates and tracking on tasks.
  • Good communication skills required, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work in a Team Environment and organise routines and schedules when required.
