Job Title – Maintenance Support Administrator

Job Location – North Co. Dublin              

Salary – €35K - €40K

 

About the Company:

Our client is currently recruiting for a Maintenance Support Administrator to join their expanding team in North Co. Dublin. This is a support role within the Maintenance Department and the Maintenance Support person will help ensure the smooth running of maintenance operations by assisting with stock control, ordering, KPI updates, and keeping maintenance records accurate and up to date.

Full training will be provided, including system training, stock control processes and site compliance requirements within a regulated food manufacturing environment.

Duties Include:

  • Carry out regular stock takes and support accurate inventory control of spare parts and consumables.
  • Monitor stock levels and flag low stock items to prevent shortages.
  • Raise and track purchase orders, assist with supplier follow-up, and coordinate deliveries.
  • Support organisation of stores areas, ensuring parts are clearly labelled and stored correctly.
  • Support planned preventative maintenance (PPM) by ensuring planned tasks are scheduled, tracked and closed out.
  • Assist with preparation of maintenance job packs or paperwork where required.
  • Assist with updating and maintaining key KPIs (e.g., PPM completion, work order status, downtime reporting).
  • Work closely with the Maintenance Manager and wider team to gather information and support reporting.
  • Support communication with other departments such as Production, Purchasing, and Quality when required.
  • Provide general support to the maintenance team in a busy environment, including assisting with changing priorities and urgent tasks.
  • Any other reasonable duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager.

 

Essential Criteria:

  • Experience in manufacturing, maintenance, stores or administration.
  • Manual handling experience/awareness.
  • Good organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • IIT skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel, email, data entry).
  • Willingness to learn and follow procedures in a regulated environment.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
