A successful Manufacturing company have got an exciting opportunity for an individual to join their team. They are looking for a motivated Maintenance Technician with at least 2 years’ experience to help with their ever-growing requirement for maintenance work.

Responsibilities of the Role: 

  • Ensure all manufacturing equipment in safely maintained and repaired when required to optimise efficiency. 
  • Preform maintenance works, renewals and enhancement works. Including inspections, self-assurance checks and quality checks. 
  • Plan all maintenance work, liaise with the suppliers and sourcing parts for daily work.
  • Responsible for the complete overhaul and repair for any manufacturing equipment. 
  • Support the line team in the planned maintenance execution, defect fixing, recording and execution of improvements of issues of a mechanical nature on production lines. 
  • Constantly look for ways to improve equipment, processes and systems. 
  • Responsible for the safe planning, coordination and safe operation of all plant required for the support of all Maintenance, Renewals and Improvement activities. 
  • Day to day repair of faults identified through inspection or as reported. 
  • Ensure quality of output at all times.
  • Undertake scheduled repairs in accordance with the manufacture recommendations and industry standard practices.

Experience and Knowledge: 

The candidate should hold recognisable qualifications relevant to the role. The individual should also have at least 2 years’ experience in a Maintenance role within a Manufacturing Environment.
