A successful manufacturing company based in Belfast is looking for a motivated Maintenance Technician to join their business.

They are looking for a talented individual with excellent communication skills to jump on board and work in a team environment in order to aid the business in achieving their goals.

The candidate should have at least 2 years’ experience in a Maintenance Role.

Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Responsible for the safe planning, coordination and safe operation of all plant required for the support of all Maintenance, Renewals and Improvement activities.
  • Ensure all manufacturing equipment in safely maintained and repaired when required to optimise efficiency.
  • Plan all maintenance work, liaise with the suppliers and sourcing parts for daily work.
  • Day to day repair of faults identified through inspection or as reported.
  • Preform maintenance works, renewals and enhancement works. Including inspections, self-assurance checks and quality checks.
  • Drive improvements in the performance of machinery.
  • Technically support managers and develop all technical skills required within the role.
  • Responsible for the complete overhaul and repair for any manufacturing equipment.
  • Support the line team in the planned maintenance execution, defect fixing, recording and execution of improvements of issues of a mechanical nature on production lines.
  • Constantly look for wats to improve equipment, processes and systems.

Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

  • 2 years’ experience in a Maintenance role within a Manufacturing Environment.
  • Hold recognisable qualifications relevant to the role.
  • Have good communication skills, with the ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Ability to use own initiative.
  • Have a logical approach to solving problems.
  • Motivated and positive in work.
  • Have the determination to get things done.
