Maintenance Technician                                       County Antrim                                          £25-40k

A successful Manufacturing company are currently looking to recruit a highly motivated, reliable and enthusiastic individual who will work well under pressure and become a part of the Maintenance and Operational team.

The individual will have the ability to preform both Mechanical and Electrical duties in regards to reactive and preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities of the Role:

• Responsible for preforming maintenance and repairs on company equipment.
• Resolving any issues and reporting any defects or concerns which could potentially cause future problems.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance.
• Preform general maintenance tasks as required by the operational team.
• Respond to and carry out reactive maintenance tasks in an efficient and effective manner, minimising the disruption to the business.
• Ensure any defects or issues are logged.
• Ensure you maintain a clean and safe environment which is compliant with relevant legislation and internal policies and procedures.

Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

• Comparable experience of maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience of preventative/reactive maintenance techniques and regimes.
• Preferably an HNC in an engineering discipline.
• Self-Motivated with the desire for continual personal development.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work well within a team setting.
• Determination to get tasks done.
• Hands on in approach to work.
