Maintenance Technician - Belfast

Maintenance Engineer          Newtownards          £30-32k

INFORM3 are recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer for our client based in North Down, easily commutable from Newtownards, Comer & Bangor. This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic individual wishing to progress in their career.

This role will suit someone who has a minimum of 3 years commercial experience providing PPM & delivering project work with a strong background in mechanical & electrical engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out PPM and periodic servicing in correspondence with the maintenance schedule
• To be able to work with the Maintenance Manager on a daily basis to carry out projects and installations.
• To order electrical/mechanical parts in line with the department and get approval.
• An understanding of health & safety procedures and following the rules and regulations.
• To undertake routine and maintenance inspections
• To work closely with machine tool suppliers in order to get what is required.
• Other duties that may be designated to you by Maintenance Manager or team leader.
• The ability to work on your own when required with a strong level of attention to detail and able to meet deadlines.

Essential Criteria:

• 3+ years’ experience in a similar role
• Efficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• To be able to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Knowledge and understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering
• A friendly & approachable nature with excellent communication skills.
• An understanding of with contractors and service providers.
