About the Company:

They are looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician to join their repair workshop. In this role, you’ll remanufacture and repair equipment, ensuring all mechanical work meets top-quality standards. You will also play a key role in building custom equipment systems designed to meet unique customer needs.

You will be responsible for assembling bespoke systems tailored to meet the unique needs of our clients across a range of industries, including pharmaceutical, food and beverage, semiconductor, and chemical sectors.

Duties Involve:

  • Disassemble, clean, repair, and reassemble vacuum pumps and associated equipment.
  • Diagnose faults, assess wear, and damage, and carry out repairs to ensure equipment performs reliably.
  • Assemble custom-built vacuum systems to precise specifications using a variety of mechanical components.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and specifications.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure all work meets Busch’s high standards of performance and safety.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop environment.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to deliver high-quality, tailored solutions for customers.

Skills Required:

  • Practical experience in mechanical maintenance and repair.
  • 3+ years’ experience working within a Mechanical Maintenance role.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • The ability to read technical drawings and follow assembly instructions.
  • A commitment to maintaining high-quality standards and safety practices.
  • A proactive and collaborative mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills.
