Salary – €45K - €55K BOE

 

About the Company:

INFORM3 are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Technician for our client company located in County Louth to play a pivotal role in keeping our operation running, through working on pre-planned preventative and reactive maintenance activities across the business.

You will be reporting to the Engineering Manager and you will be responsible for the maintaining of equipment and ensuring that the performance meets targets and KPI’s.

This role is a Monday to Friday with an early finish on a Friday.

 

Duties Involve:

  • Responsible for preforming maintenance and repairs on company equipment.
  • Resolving any issues and reporting any defects or concerns which could potentially cause future problems.
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance.
  • Undertake basic electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic repairs of all faulty production’s equipment.
  • Respond to and carry out reactive maintenance tasks in an efficient and effective manner, minimising the disruption to the business.
  • Ensure any defects or issues are logged.
  • Ensure you maintain a clean and safe environment which is compliant with relevant legislation and internal policies and procedures.
  • Carry out any other Maintenance duties that is required and confirmed with the Engineering Manager.

 

Skills Required:

  • 4+ experience in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
  • Degree or equivalent within Mechanical Engineering.
  • Knowledge and understanding working within a production industry.
  • Experience within Mechanical & Electrical fault finding.
  • Knowledge of the theories and principles of engineering for both electrical and mechanical maintenance across all disciplines is required as well as a sound understanding of design concepts.
  • Experience working within a FMCG environment beneficial.
  • Demonstrated track record in diagnosing and correcting technical problems using own initiative and, in a team, based GMP environment.
  • Ability to work on your own and within a team environment.
