A successful company based in Belfast have now got an exciting opportunity to join their team. They are looking for an individual who can take on the role of a M&E Estimator with a keen attitude to further develop your career. The role is relatively junior, with 2 years’ experience ideally wanted.
Responsibilities of the Role:
- Prepare and collate tenders and source pre-project information by a given deadline.
- Provide fast, accurate, competitive and profitable estimates from enquires stage to bid submission.
- Follow up on submitted tenders.
- Attend any tender and follow up meetings when required.
- Provide support and assistance to the estimating team.
- Identify any potential risks/opportunities within the scope of enquires received.
- Control and organise tender documentation.
- Focus on driving efficiencies, managing costings and preparing the financial bid for submission.
- Be responsible for estimating on a broad range of projects.
Experience and Knowledge:
The successful individual will ideally have 2 years relevant experience in a similar role, with a strong commercial knowledge. They should have a relevant degree level qualification relating to estimating or M&E.
