Manufacturing Design Engineer                    Co. Tyrone                £25-40K

A successful Manufacturing Company is looking for a Design Engineer with relevant experience in a similar role to join their expanding business based in County Tyrone. This role is easily commutable from Dungannon, Cookstown and Magherafelt.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects relating to manufacturing industry.

Roles & Responsibilities Include:

• Develop maintain and amend mechanical design drawings using 3D CAD Software packages.
• Ensure all drawings and designs meet company standards.
• Support and work with the Manufacturing Department and provide knowledge to help with product design and development.
• Liase with supporting other company departments such as Sales, Purchasing, Fabrication to Assembly.
• Support specific projects ensuring timescales and budget requirements are achieved.
• Produce mechanical designs from concept to production drawings in line with customer needs and business objectives.
• Design manufacturing equipment and projects for company clients.
• To follow all company Health & Safety regulations.

Experience and Knowledge:

The successful, individual should have around 3 years’ experience in a Manufacturing Design Position and should also hold a minimum of an HNC level qualification relevant to the job role.

Requirements:

• Experience working within a production/manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge and understanding of heavy machinery within Screening & Crushing Industry.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Solidworks.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Applications.
• Excellent attention to detail and follow up skills.
• Establish and maintain positive, cooperative, working relationships.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Can do attitude.
