Manufacturing Engineer

Our client a leading Engineering company involved in heavy plant has a requirement for a Manufacturing Engineer. This company have been established for over 50 years and established a reputation as market leader in their industry.  This role offers a real opportunity for career development with a progressive quality driven company.

Responsibilities:

• You will be involved in New Product Introduction within an automated manufacturing process.
• Collaborate with the Design Team on new programs/products to ensure all appropriate deliverables.
• Complete model, drawing and BoM reviews in line with program timeframe requirements.
•  Identify and define technical specifications.
• Identify and define technical specifications of plant and equipment and using Lean Manufacturing principles collaborate with the Production Team to define layout.
• Support the Production Team with any issues.
• Develop and update Manufacturing Support Documents.
• Identify and implement Lean initiatives.

Criteria

• Successful candidates should hold a Degree in Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering or a related discipline
• 2 years+ experience.
• Enthusiastic, self motivated individuals who can demonstrate strong technical, analytical and organizational skills
