A leading employer based in County Cork is currently looking for a Manufacturing Engineer who has a good knowledge of the industry and Mechanical methods.

Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Oversee the manufacturing process of the companies’ products and develop this further as the company scales and demand grows. 
  • Working closely with other functional departments to implement design changes to existing products or create manufacturing processes of new products. 
  • Provide engineering assistance to ensure a smooth process for high volume manufacturing. 
  • Ensure products achieve high quality and meet manufacturing standards. 
  • Assist in the development and facilitation of manufacturing processes and help maintain risk management policies and programs. 
  • Work within a team environment in order to get the best results. 
  • Liaise with designers, researchers, engineering and industry consultants to ensure that latest industry and equipment advances are identified in relation to the business.

Experience and Knowledge:

The successful individual should hold a minimum of an HNC level qualification in a relevant subject and should hold 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role. Having previous experience in manufacturing environment is essential.

Skills for the Role:

  • Broad knowledge of manufacturing machines.
  • Have good knowledge of Mechanical projects and services. 
  • Ability to communicate and work well with others in a team environment. 
  • Positive and hardworking individual.
  • Ability to manage a busy work load. 
  • Determination to complete work to tight deadlines.
