A successful Manufacturing company based in County Armagh are currently on the lookout for a Manufacturing Engineer who has a good knowledge and experience within the industry.

This is a great opportunity to join the companies growing engineering team and further develop your knowledge and skills within manufacturing.

If you have experience in the Manufacturing industry as an Engineer and are involved in transforming and implementing manufacturing processes, then this is the role for you.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • To develop and maintain mechanical and electrical design drawings using CAD Software packages.
  • Bill of Material Creation from Engineering drawings including input and management on ERP System.
  • Ability to determine the operational requirements and be able to propose solutions.
  • Make sure that all design work is completed and to acceptable standards and confirmed with senior manager.
  • Creation of parts on CNC Drill/Saw Line Software.
  • Produce mechanical designs from concept to production drawings in line with customer needs and business objectives
  • To complete all relevant documentation to the highest of standards and ensure it is accurate.
  • Communicate effectively with the manufacturing team to ensure that all projects are running smoothly and effectively.
  • Ensure all health and safety requirements are took into consideration throughout the design process.

Experience and Knowledge:

  • 3+ years’ experience or Degree Equivalent in Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Understanding of ERP Systems.
  • A good understanding of core concepts from, hydraulics, mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Understanding and knowledge of 3D CAD and Solidworks.
  • Excellent Verbal and Non-Verbal communication.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Positive ‘can-do’ attitude with a will to learn and improve.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
