Manufacturing Engineer - Tyrone

Manufacturing Engineer                       Dungannon                     £32-40K

INFORM3 are currently recruiting for a successful Manufacturing company based in County Tyrone who are on the lookout for Manufacturing Engineer for their expanding business.

You will be working with a successful manufacturing business who pride themselves on providing a high-quality service to customers and staff.

The right candidate will have experience within a similar role ideally within a manufacturing / engineering environment and will report directly to the Engineering Manager.  

Duties Involve:

• Create, amend and control new and existing design documentation, engineering drawings, specifications as required.
• Apply knowledge of engineering materials and processes and ensure all manufacturing processes are safe.
• Review current manufacturing processes to identify and provide actions for improvement.
• Creation and maintenance of BOM’s for production and development.
• Ability to interpret engineering/stage drawings and models.
• Responsible for the co-ordination of any new designs through the full production process.
• Understanding of key requirements from engineering drawings during the review process with supplier.
• Conduct production layout reviews to ensure effective process flow is maintained.
• Production support to the manufacturing department.
• To implement efficient cost savings procedures.
• Ability to handle multiple projects.
• Analytical thinker and quick thinker with an open mind to help strive for improvements.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Engineering qualification or equivalent industry-based experience.
• 3+ years’ experience in the heavy engineering sector.
• Working knowledge of MRP Systems.
• Experience of 3D CAD software.
• Knowledge and understanding of lean manufacturing.
• Ability to work within a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
